As part of the initiatives led by Young Lotus Caring Hands, we organised a charity walk in autumn 2025 to encourage youth involvement and support meaningful causes.
This event focused on fundraising for the Tamil Societies at the University of Southampton and Loughborough University. The funds raised will support their activities throughout the academic year, including cultural, educational, and community-based events.
The walk also aimed to create awareness among young people about the importance of giving back. By taking part, they were encouraged to contribute towards a cause and understand how their efforts can make a positive difference.
It was encouraging to see the participation and commitment shown by the youngsters. Through events like this, we continue to support and guide young people to take initiative and play an active role in the community.
